I am writing this review with great dissatisfaction about the quality of service i have received and the way I have been treated by the staff and management at Melton Toyota.I had been to Melton Toyota before Christmas 2018 with an intention to buy a Toyota Camry, as my sons are very fond of it and started looking for one. I had met Martin then who was very very genuine and honest. I really liked the way he dealt with me. As it was their closing time, they asked me to come back again after making up my mind. Next week I had been there to finalize the deal and had met Damian as Martin was away. Damian showed around and advised that there is one nice ZR car that was coming in a weeks time and he would rather recommend that and advised me to wait. SO I took the advise and left after giving my phone number. At that point I was pushed to test my seriousness and credibility and asked for a deposit. They asked for $500 and I said I dont mind paying $5000 as I am very seriously looking for one. It was more than 2 weeks I didn't hear back. Then I called back post Christmas and NY only to get a hit back saying that they did call me 15 times. Upon checking they didn't call the right number to start with and the way the message was delivered was very rude. Then when I went back post new year to finalize everything, unfortunately we couldn't cut the deal. SO I requested my deposit to be paid back. Damian advised that he will get Ray and see if he could do anything for me as Ray knew me well.Damian and Ray had a chat internally and still couldn't do the deal. I was happy to call it off and requested Damian to return my funds. He said their admin team is not in and would ask them to transfer the funds into my bank account the following day. I gave my bank details and left. It was more than a week after that and no news from them nor did I receive any funds. Then when I called back again to follow-up, Damian was away and I requested to talk to Ray, who bluntly rejected he knew me. After some heated conversation, he realized who I was and at that point he calm down and said he knows me very well. This attitude from staff and management left me thinking is that the same Toyota that I used to go when I had my previous Camry. Felt very disgusted and ill treated.Ray said he will sort the issue out and took my details and finally transferred my money back after lots of follow-up and some unnecessary arguments.I generally don't give negative feedback , but couldn't hold back based on this experience....Sorry Guys, you lost me as your customer.....If at all i decide to come back it will be purely for Martin and no one else.
