Yesterday I took my eldest son for an x-ray, over 40 mins exactly than we got to go in...4 people came 15mins after us seeing reception, they got seen well under 20mins! I thought the 2 elderly lady receptionists were a bit racist but I didn't bother entertaining that thought as I had a few children in my care with me yesterday. Anyway long story short, we got called finally...I had a sleeping child on me, my eldest son walked in front of me and my youngest son tailed behind me as only one door to the x-ray hall was opened. To my surprise, one of the lady receptionist strode out to the hallway and very sternly told my youngest son tailing behind me "you can't walk around the corridor, either you come in or go out"! I turned around and replied "Excuse me...we just walking in and as you can see, he's following me"! The lady just mumbled something and went back in the office. I couldn't go into the screening room with my elder son as I had a baby sleeping on me so I just stood outside the room with my youngest son. Now the other receptionist popped out of the office and firmly told my youngest son standing there with me to go out and sit with my older daughter who was sitting in the waiting area! My son got really intimidated that he wanted to go out. Seriously this receptionists in particular need to be schooled on proper customer service skills, manners and respect! As far as I'm concerned, we weren't doing anything to disturb anyone let alone disrupting anyone from doing their jobs! Very unprofessional conduct from both of them ladies. Shocking to witness and be a victim of racism. Shame on you ladies...

There are approximately 15 consulting rooms but most of the time there are less than 6 doctors on duty. Considering how busy this centre is; surely there should be more doctors available. Often you see aged patients sitting for more than 90mins to be seen. Melton is fast expanding and patients are multiplying by the month Most probably management is aware of this but are they being efficient enough to make sure that this improves.Staff are really fantastic and so are most of the doctors. Hopefully it gets better. Good luck to them and patients.

Some people's reviews are absolutely ridiculous!! To the person that wrote "the doctors here are under contract and if they leave said contracts they'll be deported... you are an idiot! Most of the Drs here are fantastic.

It's a mixed bag there. Some great doctors I. E. Dr parboo And Dr Nguyen (I think he has left). Some terrible doctors too, (Dr Islam). Some of the pathology and treatment room staff are great but have had some horrible experiences also. Reception, however, has always been fantastic for me. If you can afford to go somewhere else, it's a good idea. Many of the doctors seem to not know what they are doing or do not care they are working with humans and not machines. Wait times are generally over an hour. It's a bit like McDonald's, no variation for individual needs and trying to get people out the door as soon as possible. They need more doctors whom have empathy and skill.

Each time i come here the number of patients seem to increase yet the number of doctors seem not to. If you anticipate influx of patients why cant you increase the numbers of doctors. With the population increase in melton area this is just going to get worse. If you are happy to waste more than 1 hour waiting then this is your style of medical centre. If not please find an alternative.
